Wedding Photographer in Provence for International Couples
You are bringing your favourite people together in Provence, perhaps from different countries, different cultures and different parts of your life. You want beautiful wedding photographs in Provence — but you do not want to spend your wedding day posing for them.
As a wedding photographer based in Provence, I document international weddings in the South of France with a calm, discreet and heartfelt approach, so you can stay present with the people who came all this way to celebrate with you.
A wedding weekend in Provence, not just a wedding day

When your guests are travelling from different countries to join you in the South of France, your wedding often becomes more than one day. It becomes a whole experience.
It may begin with a welcome dinner under the trees, a first evening where friends and families finally meet, a quiet moment before the ceremony, or a long table shared with the people who have flown in to celebrate with you.
Then comes the wedding day itself, with everything it holds: the anticipation, the ceremony, the embraces, the speeches, the dinner, the party, and all the small moments you may not even notice while they happen.
And sometimes, the story continues the next morning, with a brunch, a slower rhythm, and the feeling that everyone is still there, still together, just a little longer.
For an international wedding in Provence, photographing the full story is not only about having more images. It is about preserving the atmosphere of the entire weekend: the people, the place, the emotions, and the rare feeling of having everyone you love gathered in one beautiful corner of the world.
A destination wedding in Provence is not only about the ceremony or the venue. It is about everything that happens around it: the arrival of your guests, the first conversations, the shared meals, the quiet pauses, the emotional moments, and the feeling of being together for more than just a few hours.
This is why a wedding weekend in Provence deserves to be photographed with attention to its full rhythm, not only its most expected moments.
A calm and discreet approach to wedding photography

Your wedding should never feel like it was organised around the photographs. The photographs should preserve the way it truly felt.
My approach is documentary, natural and discreet. I look for real emotions, meaningful gestures, warm light, quiet glances, laughter, movement, and the moments that happen between people when they are simply living the day.
Of course, I will guide you when guidance is needed. We will make time for family photographs, couple portraits, and the images that matter to you. But I believe this should be done with care, efficiency and respect for the rhythm of your wedding.
You should not have to disappear from your own celebration for too long. You should not feel like your day is constantly interrupted. You should be able to enjoy the cocktail, talk to your guests, hold your partner’s hand, laugh with your friends, and stay fully present.
My role as a discreet wedding photographer in Provence is to be attentive without taking over, to guide without imposing, and to create beautiful images without turning your wedding into a photoshoot.
Beautiful photographs, without turning your wedding into a photoshoot

You want photographs that feel elegant, warm and meaningful. But you also want to live the day as it happens.
This balance is at the heart of my work: creating beautiful wedding photography in Provence while allowing you to remain fully present with your partner, your family and your friends.
Kind words from couples I photographed

Gabriel listened carefully and gave us excellent advice from the preparation stage, making sure he fully understood our expectations for the wedding day. He made us feel comfortable during the couple portraits, and then blended into the background for the rest of the event to capture the most beautiful moments of the day.
Thank you for the quality of the photographs and for the way you were present with us.
A huge thank you to Gabriel, who allows us to relive our wedding day through his photographs. Everything is there: the most emotional moments, the tenderness, the joy, the sharing and the love. We highly recommend Gabriel.
He understood exactly the style of photographs we wanted, worked with great discretion, and gave us a wide and beautiful selection of images. Nothing is missing.

For international couples gathering their loved ones in the South of France

A destination wedding is never only about the destination. It is about the people who come together there.
Perhaps your guests are travelling from London, Dublin, Paris, New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, Geneva or somewhere else entirely. Perhaps your families speak different languages. Perhaps your friends come from different chapters of your life. Perhaps Provence was not the obvious choice at first, but became the place where everyone could meet.
I understand how meaningful that is.
When people travel a long way to be with you, every moment matters differently. The welcome dinner is not just a dinner. The cocktail is not just a transition. The morning preparations are not just a beginning. They are part of the emotional story of your wedding.
From our first conversation to the wedding day itself, everything can be discussed in clear, natural English — with you, your planner, your guests and your other vendors when needed.
As a destination wedding photographer in Provence, my aim is to be a reassuring presence throughout the process: someone who understands the importance of clear communication, thoughtful timing, discretion, and the human dynamics of an international wedding. From our first conversation to the wedding weekend itself, I want the experience to feel smooth, calm and natural — for you, your planner, your guests and everyone involved.
Clear communication in English
For many international couples, English is the language of the wedding planning process. It may be the language you use with your wedding planner, your vendors, your guests, or even between the two of you when you are outside your private world.
Being able to communicate naturally in English matters. It allows us to prepare the day clearly, avoid misunderstandings, coordinate smoothly with your planner, and make sure everyone feels comfortable when guidance is needed.
The Provence you chose: authentic, warm and elegant

Provence has a way of making people slow down.
The warm light, the stone houses, the olive trees, the vineyards, the long summer evenings, the sound of cicadas, the dinner tables set outside, the villages, the landscapes, the feeling of being somewhere both beautiful and simple.
But for your wedding, Provence is not only a backdrop. It is the place where your people will gather, meet, talk, laugh, celebrate and remember.
As a South of France wedding photographer, I am especially sensitive to that balance: the beauty of the place and the life happening inside it. I want your photographs to show Provence and the South of France, of course, but never as an empty postcard. The landscape, the light and the venue should support the story, not replace it.
Whether you are getting married near Aix-en-Provence, in the Luberon, around Marseille, in the Var, near Toulon or elsewhere in the South of France, I photograph your wedding with attention to both the setting and the people who give it meaning.
A natural and elegant vision of Provence
The Provence I love to photograph is not artificial or over-staged. It is warm, elegant, authentic and alive.
It is found in the light on old stone, in the movement of guests during cocktail hour, in a dinner outside at the end of a summer day, in the way people relax when they feel they are somewhere special without needing to perform.
This is the atmosphere I want your wedding photographs in Provence to preserve.
What I photograph during your wedding

I photograph what your wedding feels like from the inside.
The quiet tension before the ceremony. The hands adjusting a dress. The friends arriving from far away. The parents watching from the side. The guests discovering the venue. The first embrace after the ceremony. The laughter during the cocktail. The speeches that move the whole room. The dinner under the lights. The dancing, the movement, the late evening energy.
I also photograph the details you chose with care: the dress, the flowers, the table, the stationery, the jewellery, the venue, the atmosphere. But I always photograph them as part of the story, not as isolated decoration.
What I am looking for is connection. The way people look at you. The way you look at each other. The moments that are not planned, but that will matter deeply later.
Your wedding photographs should help you remember not only how everything looked, but how it felt to be there.
Real emotions, meaningful moments and warm colours
My work is guided by real emotions, warm colours and natural moments. I want your photographs to feel alive, not frozen. Elegant, but not distant. Beautiful, but still deeply personal.
For an international wedding in the South of France, this means photographing both the beauty of the setting and the emotional reality of the day: the people who came, the moments they shared, and the atmosphere you created together.
A few portraits, without disappearing from your own wedding

You will want beautiful portraits. That is natural. You have chosen Provence, a meaningful venue, a dress you love, and a celebration that probably took months to imagine. You should have images of the two of you that feel elegant, warm and true.
But this does not mean spending your wedding away from your guests.
I usually prefer portraits that are simple, relaxed and connected to the rhythm of the day. We can take a short moment together when the light is beautiful, often around the end of the afternoon or early evening. I will guide you enough so you feel comfortable, but not so much that the moment becomes stiff or artificial.
The goal is not to create images that look detached from the rest of the day. The goal is to create portraits that still feel like you, in the middle of your wedding, in the place you chose, with the emotion of the day still present.
You will have time for beautiful couple portraits in Provence. And you will have time to return to the people who came all this way for you.
Couple portraits that respect the rhythm of the day
Couple portraits should be a meaningful part of your wedding, not a long interruption.
I will help you find the right moment, the right light and the right pace, so your portraits feel natural, elegant and connected to the atmosphere of your day.
Your wedding album: the story of the weekend in your hands

At first, many couples think mostly about the digital gallery. They want to know that all the photographs will be safely delivered, easy to share, and available for friends and family around the world.
That is important. But after a wedding, especially an international wedding, the album often becomes something different.
It becomes the object that holds the story together.
A wedding album is not just a collection of beautiful images. It is the rhythm of the weekend in your hands: the welcome dinner, the morning, the ceremony, the faces of your guests, the speeches, the laughter, the portraits, the party, the small gestures, the atmosphere of Provence, and all the moments that would otherwise remain scattered across screens.
For couples whose families and friends live in different countries, an album can also become a way of preserving something rare: the memory of everyone being together in one place, for one celebration.
My fine art wedding albums are designed as elegant, timeless objects, made to be opened, shared and passed on. They are part of the way your wedding becomes a family story, not only a digital archive.
A timeless object for an international family story
When your guests return to different countries after the wedding, the album keeps the story together.
It gives a physical form to the people, the place, the emotions and the atmosphere of your wedding weekend in Provence. It is something you can hold, revisit, share with your family, and keep for the years to come.
Photography coverage shaped around your wedding weekend in Provence

Every wedding in Provence has its own rhythm.
Some couples want me by their side for the main wedding day only. Others want the full story of the weekend: the welcome dinner, the wedding day, the brunch the next morning, or even a quiet day-after session once the celebration is over.
Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach, I prefer to understand how your wedding will unfold, who will be there, what matters most to you, and how much of the story you want to preserve.
During our first conversation, we can talk through the different possibilities and find the coverage that feels right for your celebration.
The aim is not simply to decide how many hours are needed. It is to understand what kind of memory you want to keep from your wedding in Provence.
From the wedding day to the full weekend
Your coverage can be shaped around the way your celebration truly happens.
For some couples, the wedding day itself is the heart of the story. For others, the welcome dinner, the brunch or a day-after session are essential parts of the memory. We will discuss this together, so the photography feels aligned with your plans, your guests and the experience you want to live.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you photograph international weddings in Provence?
Yes. I photograph international weddings in Provence and the South of France for couples who often live abroad or have guests travelling from several countries. For many of them, the wedding is not only about one day, but about a full experience with family and friends gathering in one beautiful place.
Can we communicate in English before and during the wedding?
Yes. We can discuss your wedding in English from the first message to the wedding day itself. I can also communicate in English with your wedding planner, your guests and your other vendors when needed, so the experience feels smooth and natural.
Can you cover a full wedding weekend in Provence?
Yes. Depending on your plans, I can photograph the wedding day only, or a fuller story including the welcome dinner, the brunch, or a day-after session. This is something we can discuss together during our first conversation, based on the rhythm of your wedding and the moments that matter most to you.
How much time do we need for couple portraits?
I usually recommend keeping the couple portraits simple and well integrated into the day. The exact timing depends on your venue, the light and your schedule, but the goal is always the same: to create beautiful wedding portraits without taking you away from your guests for too long.
Do you take group photos?
Yes, of course. We will plan them in advance so they feel clear, efficient and relaxed on the wedding day. The idea is to create the family and group photographs that matter, without turning your cocktail hour into a long posing session.
Do you work with wedding planners?
Yes. For destination weddings in Provence, working with a wedding planner is often a real advantage. I am happy to coordinate with your planner before the wedding to understand the timeline, the important moments, the locations and any specific details that need attention.
Do you photograph weddings at venues and estates in Provence?
Yes. I photograph weddings in Provençal estates, country houses, bastides, châteaux, traditional mas and private venues throughout Provence and the South of France. I especially love places where the light, the landscape and the atmosphere become part of the story without taking attention away from the people.
Do you travel outside Provence?
Yes. I am based in Provence, but I can also travel elsewhere in France and across Europe for weddings. If your celebration takes place outside Provence, we can discuss the location, travel details and the best way to document your day or weekend.
Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes. I offer fine art wedding albums designed to tell the story of your day or your full wedding weekend. For an international wedding, an album is often one of the most meaningful ways to preserve the feeling of having everyone together in Provence.
How long will it take to receive our photos?
I guarantee delivery within a maximum of six weeks. I always try to be faster when possible, but never at the expense of the care, consistency and attention your photographs deserve.
What if it rains on our wedding day?
No worries. Even with rain, there are always creative and elegant solutions. We can adapt the timing, use covered areas, move indoors when needed, or create beautiful images with clear umbrellas if the moment feels right.
Do you also film, or only take photos?
I am a photographer, not a videographer. These are two different ways of working, and filming a full wedding would interfere with the attention I give to photography. However, if you do not have a videographer and would like a few short video memories, we can talk about what may be possible.
Do you use generative AI for photo editing?
Only in very limited cases, mainly to remove distracting elements such as emergency exit signs, bins or small visual distractions in the background. I do not use generative AI to alter people’s appearance.
If you are planning a wedding in Provence and want photographs that feel elegant, warm and true to the way the day unfolded, I would be happy to hear more about your plans.
